The Removal Process

The removal process varies somewhat per case, however the following guidelines would apply:
Hunters abide by local, state and federal laws in regards to hunting and trapping.
Removal Options can include:
Trapping - All trapping is performed ethically and in accordance with law.  Any non-target animals which are caught are attempted to be released as soon as possible and unharmed.
Box Trapping - A box style trap is set with bait which attempts to lure the animal in for removal.  The box trap is used to remove the animal without harming it. The trap is left in a location for a certain amount of time and must be checked to see if any animals have been caught in the trap.
Foot Trapping - Either off set or rubber jawed, can be also used for catch and release.  Again, they are baited to lure the animal in for removal. They are designed to not hurt the animal, and greatly reduce the risk, however may not be as harm free as a box style trap.  Depending on the environment, a foot trap may need to be used instead of a box style trap.
Body traps-  would only be used when a foot style or box trap are not feasible and the animal must be eliminated quickly. They are designed to capture the animal and kill it quickly and humanely to prevent suffering.
Hunting - A hunter would determine the best location to set up a call station and/or blind in order to wait for the animal to appear.  Once it does, the hunter will shoot the animal for removal.  This option is the most discriminate to ensure the corrent animal is removed but requires more dedicated time of the hunter.

Property access - The Hunters require physical access and permission to hunt the property where the varmint is creating the nuisance.    For nuisance animals on large property (50 acres or more), ATV or truck access would be preferred, but are not required.  Note that the Hunters will require permission to hunt on adjacent property in some cases.  If this permission cannot be obtained, the Hunters will not venture onto this property.

Time frame - 24 hour response time in most cases.  Attempts to remove animal would most likely be taken care of in less than a week, depending on the type and quantity of animal,  persuant to local, state and federal regulations.
